The Greg Street Classic Song of the Day comes from former Fugees artist Lauryn Hill “Lost One”. The classic song was featured on Lauryn’s debut solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill where she sings in a common dialect known in Jamaica as patois.
The album reached number one on the Billboard 200 charts in late August of 1998 and broke first week record sales for any female artist at the time. “Lost Ones” was the first single released from the album followed by “Doo Wop” which reached number 1 on the Billboard charts.
